I’m Kath. I love writing and particularly enjoy writing people’s stories, and I love coaching and supporting people through life’s big moments. These two loves combined into a celebrancy service that will wrap its arms around you as you plan and approach your special day.
I love working with couples and families who are looking for something unique, where the ceremony isn’t a formality but a celebration of everything that makes you who you are. Whether you’re feeling nervous or just want to be sure everything feels relaxed and authentic, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Many Celebrants will create a beautiful, personalised ceremony and I do that too, but what makes my work different is that I’m also an experienced and qualified Coach with a background of over twenty years in Psychology and people-focused roles. This means I’m not only thinking about what we all say and do on your special day, but I’m also supporting how you plan and how you feel in the months, weeks, and hours leading up to it.
I lead inclusive wedding ceremonies and truly believe that love is love. I particularly specialise in working with those who are more introverted, who may experience anxiety, or anyone who feels daunted by the spotlight. I offer tailored coaching sessions to help you feel calm and connected. It’s not therapy. It’s coaching support – helping you move from nerves or overwhelm to feeling ready to embrace every moment of your day. Together, we’ll create a ceremony that truly reflects your story, with plenty of room for laughter, connection, and celebration. We can bring in readings, poetry, rituals, music and even a sing-a-long if that appeals…
I live in West Sussex in England with my two children, two cats, and a Cavapoo puppy. I love nature and wildlife. and poetry, books and films that move me. And I love meeting new people. I’m not gregarious or bold, and I’m not as extraverted as I once thought I was. However, I can design and write beautiful ceremonies. I can hold a room with love and laughter. And I can support you in the run up to the special day.
